Organization Update
This morning, the following email was sent to the FinMango team:
Team,
There’s something that happens when adversity strikes that changes the way you look at life. During this pandemic, FinMango was lucky enough to overcome that adversity with resilience—the ability to absorb, adapt, and transform. Right now, FinMango is doing the following to help make the world be a better place:
Sustaining and relaunching in-person programs (e.g.How To Become a Millionaire).
Maintaining the COVID-19 Open Data Project with Google.
Our work is being used by many organizations such as the WHO/Covax, The World Bank, IMF, Harvard University Research, USAID, and Verily just to name a few.
Building cool stuff on Mango X that reaches millions.
Highlighting amazing advocates from around the world (60+ countries) with our Advocacy Alliance.
Moving forward, we'll be doubling down on these core initiatives by attempting the following:
Scaling the "How to Become a Millionaire" program.
Continue building, testing, and scaling incredible products at Mango X.
Promoting the Advocacy Alliance by highlighting more advocates and writing more personalized blogs of cool people.
Collaborating with more organizations and companies to multiply our impact.
At FinMango, our mission has and always will be to revolutionize financial literacy by making it universally accessible and useful. We’ve always drawn strength from our diversity, welcomed people from every walk of life to our organization around the world, and strived to build a culture that is inclusive of everyone. It's in our DNA. While I’m grateful for how radically positive the pandemic has been for FinMango compared to most, recognizing this is a reminder of how important it is to use the privilege and opportunities we are given to further help those around the world.
We have a lot of work ahead and we have to communicate better to make it happen, but I feel grateful for the amazing people in this organization. By working together, we're unselfishly impacting millions of lives around the world and it's an honor to have a small role in that work.
With every breath we take, we must commit to being that change, and to creating a better, more just world for everyone.
